64 days to go

Noch 64 Tage bis zum Abflug. 64 ist eine große Zahl und klingt nach einer lagen Zeit, aber wenn ich das mal in Wochen umrechne...
da sind es plötzlich nur noch 8 Wochen, und 8 klingt nicht mehr nach sehr viel.
Hostmum und die Mädls die schon im gelobten Land sind (damit meine ich die Au Pairs die schon in meiner zukünftigen unmittelbaren Nähe wohnen) schaffen es durch Erzählungen, Pläne und Versprechungen mich so weit zu bringen, dass ich es kaum erwarten kann.
Dabei bin ich mir doch so sicher, dass ich die letzten Tage vor dem Abflug das überschüssige Wasser in den Tränendrüsen zurückhalten muss und dass ich die letzten Nächte vor dem Abflug kaum ein Auge zubekommen werde.
Aber bis dahin genieße ich meine Vorfreude und erledige all die Dinge die noch erledigt werden müssen (Visa-Card, Gastgeschenke, Kofferpacken, etc.)

There are 64 days to go, 64 days - that sounds like a long time. But if i think in weeks there are only 8 weeks to go and 8 is a little number and that doesn't sound like a long time.
Hostmum and the other Au Pairs who are already in England make me want to be on the island already! 
And yet I'm absolutely sure to cry the last days before the depature and I'm absolutely sure that I won't be able to sleep in the last nights before the depature.
But by then I will enjoy my pleasant anticipation  and do all the things which have to be done till then (Visa-Card, hostpresents, packing my bags, and so on)
